Healthy Housing Principles

This in-person course is centered around the BPI Healthy Housing Principles certificate. Students who successfully complete the course will learn how to evaluate residential structures, recognize hazards to human health, and advise occupants on ways to potentially improve health outcomes in their home environment. The class is appropriate for students with intermediate experience in the weatherization and home performance industries. This course will be presented as a hybrid of class presentations, lab activities, and field visits. This class will conclude with a proctored examination of the BPI Healthy Housing Principles examination.
