This course prepares qualified students to take the BPI BA-T Building Analyst Technician certification exam. Students will review the types of questions that will be asked during the written and field exams and take one final exam assessing their Energy Auditor skills.

This training is the third training in our BPI Cohort series. Building Science Principles and Building Analyst Technician certificates are required to participate.
The Business Analyst Professional Training (BA-P) is a free 4 day, in person training, Monday – Thursday. Training dollars are paid to participants for these days.
The 2.5 hour, BA-P in-person, online multiple choice exam is on Friday. (The exam is up to 5 hrs with an interpreter.)

The Building Analyst Technician (BA-T) course is a solid next step after the BSP which gives students the skills to perform whole home diagnostic tests and collect data to industry standards.
The Building Analyst Technician Training (BA-T) is offered in Portland, Or. It’s a free and paid, five day, in person training. Followed by a free week of mentorship and practice.
The oral and practical four hour Field exam will be scheduled during the following 2 weeks. (The exam is up to eight hours with an interpreter.)
This training is the second training in our BPI Cohort series. Building Science Principles (BSP) is a prerequisite which EnerCity Collaborative (ECC) offers as an online and self paced training to students enrolled in this course. The BA-T is a prerequisite for the Building Analyst Professional (BA-P) training.
