This privacy policy explains how the Energy Friendly Homes Program website (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, and shares your information when you visit our website, EnergyFriendlyHomes.com (the “Site”). Your privacy is important to us. 

The content is maintained and controlled by Evergreen Consulting Group I, LLC, DBA Evergreen Energy Partners (Evergreen), under the direction of the Portland Clean Energy Community Benefits Fund (PCEF).

2. Information We Collect

  • Information You Give Us: Name, email address (when you sign up for newsletters or contact us form); information provided in the application.
  • Automatically Collected Information: IP address, browser type, pages visited, device info, and data from cookies (small files on your computer or mobile device) for analytics and site function. 

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To improve our website and user experience.

    • For security and to prevent fraud. 

  • If you choose to provide us with personal information by completing an application, signing up for our newsletter list, or completing a web contact form, we may use that information to respond to your message or to help us obtain the information you have requested.

4. Sharing Your Information

  • Third-Party Service Providers: We use companies like Google Analytics to help us understand site usage. They only use your data as instructed.
  • Legal Requirements: We may share data if required by law or to protect our rights. 
  • To Provide Services: In an effort to respond to your request, information you submit may be viewed by Energy Friendly Homes Program staff, and, depending upon the nature of your request, shared with program contractors and to assist in responding to your request. Our newsletter list is not sold or shared, and contact queries are used for follow-up purposes only. You may decline emails from us at any time or when you manage your subscriptions.
  • For analysis, we share anonymized information in the aggregate with the City of Portland. Identifying information such as name, address, or business locations are stripped and replaced with unique identifiers.

5. Links to and Content from Other Sites

  • Our Privacy Policy applies to the Energy Friendly Homes Program website only. Once you navigate to another site, you are subject to the policies of that new site.
  • Articles on this site may include embedded content, such as video or images. Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
