Sustainable Construction Career Day

The Sustainable Construction Career Day provides a space for the next generation of new workers and emerging construction professionals to explore careers in the sustainable residential trades and learn about upcoming training program opportunities.

Hosted by Earth Advantage and Oregon Tradeswomen in collaboration with our network of partners, this event series brings together emerging talent, mentors, and industry leaders to provide insight into high-demand, future-focused construction careers.

Here, participants will:

• Discover in-demand career pathways in residential and energy-efficient construction, including Home Retrofit, New Construction, HVAC & Heat Pumps, and Energy Rating & Auditing
• Meet industry leaders in their trades who are actively shaping the future of sustainable housing
• Learn about trainings, certifications, training programs, and scholarship opportunities that can accelerate your career
• Build connections and leave with a personalized career plan
• Includes coffee & light breakfast, lunch, and non-alcoholic happy hour
• Earn a stipend for attending the full day

Career Day is open to new workers and community members interested in learning about careers in sustainable residential construction. Must be 18+ years old; youth may attend with a guardian.
