We’re providing funding for energy efficiency upgrades for Portlanders, investing in local contractors, and expanding workforce training. Together, these efforts create economic opportunities, lower the energy burden on Portland residents, and build long-term climate resilience. Each project follows a carefully planned, step-by-step process. An average project timeline is two to six (2-6) months from the walk-through to final inspection. Learn more about the steps for each project.
Retrofit projects that have completed eligibility screening. Work may be pending contractor assignment, scheduling, installation, or final quality assurance.
Contractors who meet program requirements, are approved to participate in the program, and are eligible to work on program-funded projects.
Projects where the work is done, quality has been verified, and final payment has been issued.
Grant funds that have been awarded to Program Contractors to help cover the cost of approved equipment for eligible projects.
