DESCRIPTION:Join us for a 2.5-day training on Building Envelope & Systems Testing (BEST)!\nLunch will be provided each day.\nThis training is designed for contractors and field professionals who have completed building science training and want additional hands-on practice with testing procedures\, equipment setup\, troubleshooting\, and duct sealing. Continuing education credits available (OR CCB\, BPI\, NATE). \nParticipants will perform: \n\nBlower door and envelope airtightness testing.\nDuct leakage testing and diagnostics.\nLocal exhaust airflow verification.\nAir handler airflow measurement.\nDuct sealing methods and field application.\n\nWhat to bring? \n\nProtective eyewear\nHeadlamp or flashlight\nHand tools\nWork gloves\n\nDay One\nDate and Time: Wednesday\, Nov. 4\, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm \nLocation: NAMC-Oregon\, 2205 NE Columbia Blvd\, 2nd Floor\, Portland\, OR 97211 (classroom) \nDay Two\nDate and Time: Thursday\, Nov. 5\, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm \nLocation: TBA (*field testing) \nDay Three\nDate and Time: Friday\, Nov. 6\, 8:00 am – 2:00 pm \nLocation: TBA (*field testing and duct sealing) \nSpace is limited – ONLY 15 SPOTS AVAILABLE.
